Brunson Cooper, Managing Director
Mr. Cooper has more than 19 years of experience in the construction industry and has established himself as a well respected contractor in the architectural and engineering community. As Managing Director of Corenic Construction, Mr. Cooper oversees the entire operation, including new business development and day-to-day activities in the office and field operations.
Mr. Cooper grew up in South Carolina, following the completion of his education at North Carolina A&T University; he went to work for Turner Construction Company in Washington, DC. Recognizing a need for an exceptional minority commercial general contractor, Mr. Cooper left Turner to start Corenic Construction Group. Mr. Cooper has continued to concentrate on commercial construction needs, including tenant build outs and renovations. As a result, Corenic has completed hundreds of commercial construction projects of various scopes and sizes.
James A. Morrow III, General Manager
With over 17 years of professional experience, Mr. Morrow’s focus is to increase management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling managers. His role encompasses communication of Corenic’s values, strategies, and objectives internally and externally. He accomplishes company objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results measurements; reviewing progress and making mid-course corrections. Another key responsibility for Mr. Morrow is building Corenic’s image by collaborating with customers, government entities, community organizations, and employees. He assists in maintaining Corenic’s track record for quality service by establishing, enhancing and enforcing organization standards throughout the company’s platform.
