Corenic Construction and Turner Construction embark on a multi-phased joint venture

On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Corenic Construction was joined by Turner Construction at Suitland High School’s Groundbreaking Ceremony to introduce the new construction of the Prince George’s County high school. Located in Forestville, Maryland, the multi-phased project includes full replacement of the existing 344,875 SF and 2,477 student Suitland High School Campus, consisting of the Comprehensive High School (CHS), Center for Visual and Performing (CVPA) Arts and Career Technical Education (CTE).

As a Prince George’s County based contractor, Corenic Construction is excited to embark on this joint venture with Turner Construction, ensuring small and minority businesses are well represented while doing impactful work within our community. After 70 years, this historic redesign allows students to abide by Suitland’s motto “Falling Forward Toward Student Achievement.” With our young people and future leaders in mind, we have made a commitment to the future of our county’s education system, which allows us to stay true to our mission – A commitment made is a commitment delivered!
