Save The Children has been improving lives for over 100 years, and we’re proud to support their mission.

This office renovation project involved the transformation of 8,500 SF of occupied space on the 9th floor, designed to meet the evolving needs of Save The Children. As a highly technical and logistically complex endeavor, the renovation was carefully executed to ensure a seamless transition, allowing their team to return to the office quickly and continue their vital efforts. The work encompassed seven distinct areas across the floor plate, each with unique requirements to create a cohesive yet tailored workspace environment. The renovation included the installation of modern finishes such as sleek glass walls and glass doors, vibrant new paint, resilient flooring, and plush carpeting, all designed to create an inviting and professional atmosphere.

Additionally, limited custom millwork was incorporated into a single elevation, adding a personalized touch to the design. A key feature of the renovation was the incorporation of fabric-wrapped panels, which enhanced the space’s visual appeal and contributed to acoustic improvements. A specialty ceiling enhanced one office area, highlighting our commitment to both form and function.

The project also included strategically converting an existing space into a new restroom, optimizing the layout while adhering to all necessary codes and requirements. A crucial part of the renovation was overhauling mechanical systems to improve efficiency and functionality. The work involved relocating existing Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes and installing a new VAV system and a new fan to ensure optimal air distribution and comfort. These updates were seamlessly integrated into the existing building systems to minimize disruption while meeting modern energy efficiency standards. Electrical work included precise core drilling to accommodate new controls and power requirements for updated systems. Additionally, new telecommunication and data infrastructure were installed, providing new data drops to support the evolving technological needs of the office environment.

As part of the renovation, new plumbing tie-ins were integrated to support the new restroom facilities, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with all plumbing codes. This project exemplifies our team’s ability to manage complex, occupied office spaces while delivering superior quality and ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Our attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering results make us the ideal partner for any office renovation project, regardless of size or complexity.
