Managing Director and Founder

Brunson Cooper is a well-respected professional in the construction industry with over 27 years of experience. As Managing Director and Founder of Corenic Construction, a Prime General Contractor and Design/Build firm in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, he oversees the entire operation with a focus on business development.

Brunson serves on several boards throughout the metropolitan area including serving on the Board of his Alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University. He and his company have received numerous awards ranging from and including the prestigious “40 Under 40″; “Top 25 Minority Business Leader” and “Top 75 Fastest Growing Companies”, both by the Washington Business Journal; and the “Top 100 MBE Awards”. Most recently, Corenic was awarded the AGC of Metropolitan Washington, DC 2022 General Contractor award for the Shady Glen Fire Station project.

As an active member of his community both in the Washington, DC area and his hometown of Hemingway, South Carolina, Brunson continues to donate to various non-profit organizations on a regular basis. Brunson holds a BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina A&T and is the proud husband and father to his wife and two children.
