Corenic Construction Group led the renovation of two wings of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) Headquarters Building in Temple Hills, MD. Spanning over 42,000 square feet, this interior renovation modernized the existing facility to better serve WSSC’s evolving operational needs and workforce.
Delivered under a design-bid-build contract, the project involved a full demolition of the existing interior layout and the installation of new drywall and glass partitions. Corenic coordinated major MEP upgrades, a new DFH package, and millwork cabinetry throughout. The scope also included new flooring, wall tile, and bathroom accessories, creating a clean and cohesive environment from floor to ceiling.
To enhance both form and function, Corenic also managed the replacement of storefront and entry vestibules—contributing to the building’s updated appearance and improved accessibility.
Completed in collaboration with SAMAHA Associates P.C., this high-impact renovation reflects Corenic’s capacity to execute large-scale institutional projects while prioritizing quality, efficiency, and design integrity.
